Perhaps as a result of gamers finding the 2002 version difficult to learn, EA Sports has incorporated a rather streamlined interface into its player controls. On the same topic, the graphical rendering of the 24 stadiums adds an extra sense of realism to the package as do the choices of uniforms for both home and away teams. Although this 2003 version is by no means the equivalent to more modern platforms, it is still very impressive in terms of the players that can be employed. EA Sports claims that each one has been modelled after a real-world counterpart. The sheer number of teams dictates that there are now over 10,000 individual players to select. While this may disappointing to some, the fact that there are over 450 teams to choose from adds much to the levels of overall excitement. Since the 2002 version focused primarily on international events, FIFA Football 2003 instead is centred around club games. Providing a faster pace than previous versions as well as more realistic game play, this 2003 variant may very well be just what fans of the franchise have been looking for. FIFA Football 2003 is an impressive improvement when compared to the 2002 version of the same name.ĮA Sports is highly respected for the gaming platforms that it has offered over the years and FIFA Football 2003 is no exception.
